SYMPHONY BOX

This box was created for a fundraising event to benefit the Indianapolis Wind Symphony in 2019. The box was crafted from Mahogany and given a dark aged finish. The box was adorned with hand-crafted, hand-aged brass hardware. While this project started off simply enough, I decided to give it a little magic by creating a secret bottom compartment hidden under a removable faux bottom panel.  

 

While we were not in attendance at the Wind Symphony event, I am to understand that the Symphony Box piqued the interest of many there. Ultimately the box found a home with the highest bidder, bringing the fundraiser in the neighborhood of $350!

Please note: The wood used to craft these boxes is the real thing! It is not pine stained to look like an exotic wood. Your box will be carefully crafted from real hardwoods like Bloodwood, Brazilian Cherry, Maple, Padauk, Purple Heart, Walnut, Wenge, just to name a few.  Color and grain will vary some as this is a natural product and subject to the designs and characteristics of nature.
